TOP OF THE MORNING TO YAH!

I love the Irish. Really, I do. I love their optimism and their bubbly personas. Most of all I love GREEN. Such a refreshing colour. Such a beautiful idea. St Patrick's Day or St Paddie's Day as I love saying is on Saturday, so I made some Shamrock Cookies. Well I thought I did make the true Shamrock, but a lovely Irish lady told me that a Shamrock has 3 leaves, and the shape I made was infact a four leaf clover! So because of the myth that all Irish people are lucky, and so are Shamrocks, I say these are Shamrock cookies! I just found a recipe for gingerbread and omitted the ginger as I don't like it....

Hello to The "WEIGHT" Seventies

Firstly I'd like to apologise for the speech impediment pun in the title of this blog post BUT I think I can cause this diet thing is working for me!

WOOOHOOOO so pleased with myself and my dear friend is coming over today with Eagle Boys Pizza and I told her "NOPE" I'm happy to watch her eat but exercising twice a day in the rain is motivation enough not to eat naughty food today, maybe next week. Over the weekend, stay tuned for a marvellous White Chocolate Mudcake recipe I am testing, and see if I can say NOOOOO!!!

WHERE HAS MY TOMMY GONE??

I miss the old Thomas the Tank. Seriously I do. The chugga chugga crescendo of the theme song used to get me going back in the 80s when there was no Foxtel, no playback on IQ, VHS videos were too darn expensive to "tape" thing that weren't special. If you are over 30 then you know exactly what I mean! Here's the new Tank, and I'm sick of all the repetition and annoying little voices. There I've said it. ABC4 if you are out there, please play more In The Night Garden. I love the Ninky Nonk and I'm sad no one got me the pull along wooden toy replica for my birthday :O

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!

Well my 31st Birthday isn't until the 28th of January. I have been given an industrial KitchenAid- not just the ordinary one that most people have but a bigger one. It's so awesome and mixes my batters effortlessly and so evenly! I'm so happy that I have got one! She is Empire Red to match my KitchenAid Food Processor and basically most of the other appliances come in Empire Red too, so it was a great colour choice! Happy Baking xoxoxo

LONG HOT SUMMER

Ta dah!!! Sydney is finally getting the summer they deserve! This is me, all of me, the 81.0 kilograms of me getting a workout, well the start of my 1/2 hour workout to be precise. I go twice per day, everyday! You see, my local park with the duckpond has a play area for the kids AND an outdoor gym. Absolutely free. Kids play at the park part, while Mums and Dads do their workout and watch from only 1/2 a metre away. Win, Win. Happy Winsday all xoxoxo Heres hoping that my pracel man arrives with some great goodies I'm already expecting and here's hoping that next Winsday I'm in the weight 70's! Amanda
